We've narrowed our Fall Reunion to 2 dates--Oct. 21st and Oct. 28th. We need Alumni opinions on a preferred weekend based on the following information. One major point--this reunion includes a 2-night stay in Memphis. No official activities are planned for Saturday until the dinner & dance, so there will be ample time for those wanting to visit Gosnell. Please vote on the website by May 15th on your preferred itinerary.

Review the choices, below, then vote for your choice.  Not limited to just the 60s & 70s - All Classes are welcome, All Classes are welcome!

    Category 1 - Oct. 21-23 - Downtown Radisson Hotel

This weekend will allow us to attend the Pirates' final home football game.
We can either fend for ourselves or charter a bus if there's enough interest. It will play out like this:

    • 1.a. - No Bus
Alumni congregate during halftime or 3rd qtr
Return to the Radisson - check in
      Meet in Hospitality Room
      After-gathering activities (personal choice)
Saturday Brunch (not part of the package - arrange with your classmates)
All day do whatever (personal choice)
      Dinner & Dance
      After Party whatever (personal choice)
      Sunday breakfast/brunch
    • 1.b. - Charter Bus
      Check into Radisson
      Meet in Hospitality Room
      Ride charter bus to Gosnell
Alumni congregate during halftime or 3rd qtr
      Bus back to Radisson
      Meet in Hospitality Room
      After-gathering activities (personal choice)
Saturday Brunch (not part of the package - arrange with your classmates)
All day do whatever (personal choice)
      Dinner & Dance
      After Party whatever (personal choice)
      Sunday breakfast/brunch

    Category 2 - Oct. 28-30 - Downtown Marriott Hotel
This weekend does not include any scheduled activity in Gosnell. Again, Saturday is open for any personal activity.

        After-gathering activities (personal choice)

        After Party whatever (personal choice)
        Sunday breakfast/brunch
  • 19 April - After many weeks of checking out all possible alternatives for staying in Memphis, there is nothing available to accommodate our group for a summer reunion. All downtown hotels have been booked and the only Airport hotel that could accommodate us was located in an undesirable area.

Therefore, we will move the reunion to the Fall (October) where our options for staying close to Beale Street and getting more reasonable prices should vastly improve and the weather will be much more accommodating. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to go to a Pirate home football game during the reunion weekend if you so desire.

We will attempt to firm up the specific October reunion weekend and get registration forms out as soon as possible. Please check the website periodically for updates and look for notices from your class representatives.

  • Planning for the 2005 Reunion in Memphis has begun. Our reunion coordinator is checking hotels by the River within walking distance of Beale Street and the Peabody, and we'll determine the weekend shortly thereafter. Once the date has been determined, it will be announced immediately. Please check back here periodically for updates.
  • Your Class Web Reps will be contacting you, as well, to ensure we have accurate information on you in our database, particularly your snail-mail and email addresses. If you have not yet been contacted, please ensure the Alumni webmaster has your address. We need all your information in our database to ensure you receive the reunion registration application. Again, contact our Webmaster, Richard Bullock (webmaster@ghs-alumni.org), for information on how to enter your information in our database.
  • [REDUNDENT] It is critical we have accurate information in our database so we can send you the reunion registration application. Your class web rep has been asked to gather and confirm your contact info. If s/he does not, within a reasonable amount of time (week or two), initiate action on your own. [/REDUNDENT]
